As an educator with over 20 years of experience, teaching urban, rural, and suburban areas from middle to high school level students.  Some highlights of my political realm have been running as a candidate for a board of education, chairing a government relations committee, and advocating for public education interests in Annapolis and Washington D. C. as a member of the Maryland State Education Association board and a National Education Association Director.
